The CCMInfo
software for Windows 95/98 and Macintosh gives you more control over your
PeRKInet cable modem. The software lets you tell your cable modem to dial
or hang-up when you want, rather than you having to manually power down
your modem to force a disconnection.
Hybrid CCMInfo for Windows 95/98
- Download
the software and save it to your desktop, then double-click on
the Hybrid icon (ccmi20bd.exe)
- Click on the "Setup" button (the necessary files will
be extracted)
- Click on the "Next" button
- Choose the folder that you want to install to, the default
is fine Click on Next (the product will then install)
- Answer "Yes" when the installer asks if you want CCMinfo
to run at startup.
- Click on "OK" to finish
- When CCMInfo starts, you will be asked some basic information
about yourself. This info is for a reporting feature that has not
yet been implemented. Please fill the information in correctly so
you won't need to do it if we do implement the reporting feature.
Hybrid CCMInfo for Macintosh
- Download
the software and save it to your desktop, then double-click on
the Hybrid icon (ccmi20a1.sit)
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- When CCMInfo starts, you will be asked some basic information
about yourself. This info is for a reporting feature that has not
yet been implemented. Please fill the information in correctly so
you won't need to do it if we do implement the reporting feature.
