Borneo Caving Expedition
Online Educational Project

\

Hey kids! Have you ever dreamed of camping in the jungle with a bunch of friends, surrounded by some of the best unexplored caves in the world?

Have you ever thought it would be cool to be the first human to see an amazing and beautiful part of our planet and then get to name it anything you want?

Do you dream of helping to save part of the rainforest?

Would you like to know more about caves, caving, Borneo, or rainforests?

If you say yes to any of those questions, explore this web site! It was made for our January, 2000 caving expedition in the rainforests of Borneo.  We then searched for unknown caves to explore and map in the Malaysian state of Sarawak.  We found some awesome caves, and had some incredible adventures! They're all here for your perusing pleasure. And while you're at it, you'll learn more about caves, rainforests and our past Borneo "Gunung Buda Project" expeditions.

Enter, and you'll find pictures of amazing caves, along with stories of intrigue, betrayal, and death-defying adventure. Teachers can find lessons on caves for their students. And, of course, there are disgusting pictures of the dreaded Mulu Foot and face-eating rhinoceros beetles . . .
