CALM Boards Writings
I served as Bay Area Representative to the California Association of Local Mental Health Boards/Commissions (CALM Boards) from its inception in 1993 until June 1995. In 1993-94 I was Chair of the CALM Boards Training Committee. In June 1994 due to a conflict with/attack from the CALM leadership over empowerment/harassment, I got involved in an extended complaint process. I networked the MHB/C clients and wrote two volumes
of the MHB/C Client Newsletter. Volume 0 covers the
period 1994-95 and Volume 1, 1995-96.
