The Legrand radiant AF15TRLA is a 15 amps duplex tamper-resistant AFCI receptacle with light almond color finish. This electrical outlet features high-impact-resistant, tamper-resistant, safelock-protection and black shutters. The Pass and Seymour Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) outlets are the latest innovation in electrical safety Technology and a Code-approved alternative to AFCI breakers. AFCI receptacles protect against electrical fires by detecting arc faults and de-energizing the circuit. Two back-wire holes per termination add wiring flexibility, eliminate pigtailing and save box space. Ground terminal back-wire for fast installation. Auto-ground clip assures a positive ground to metal box. Tamper-Resistant automatic shutter system prevents children from inserting objects such as hairpins or keys. Black shutters essentially disappear into the background for an invisible effect preferred by end users.
