Beam angle specification is measured on the standalone bulb. Final delivered beam angle and lumen output may be affected by which fixture the bulb is installed in. 2700K (warm white) color temperatures are preferred for surroundings with warmer colors like brown and cedar, as well as natural-colored walls or stonework. It also works well for foliage that is red, orange or yellow, like highlighting oak trees. 12V Low Voltage Drop-In fixtures require a fixture, LED Lamp, low voltage wire and a transformer to operate as a system.
